Dash Cam App Privacy Policy

1.3 Dash Cam Video Data

Our App is designed to record and manage dash cam videos. Depending on your settings and usage, we may process:

• Video files recorded by the App
• Associated metadata such as date and time, file size, and basic device information

1.4 Cloud Videos vs Offline Videos

The App may provide an option to back up or sync your videos to cloud storage services.

• Cloud videos: Videos you choose to upload or sync to the cloud will remain stored there until you delete them from within the App or from the connected cloud account, or until your account or service is otherwise terminated in accordance with that service’s policies.
• Offline videos: Videos stored locally on your device (offline videos) are not uploaded to our servers. These offline videos remain on your device and are under your control unless you manually choose to upload or share them using the App or your device’s features.

We do not automatically upload local/offline dash cam videos to any server without your action or consent.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the App and its dash cam features
• Store and manage your videos in cloud storage when you choose to upload them
• Improve and personalize your experience with the App
• Analyze usage, monitor performance, and fix issues or crashes

3. App Permissions

The App may request certain permissions on your device to enable specific features. For example:

• Camera permission – to record dash cam video
• Microphone permission – if audio recording is part of the video
• Storage / Photos / Files permission – to save, read, and manage video files on your device
• Location / GPS permission – if you enable features that tag location data with your recordings
• Network access – to sync or back up videos to the cloud and to send analytics data

All permissions are requested strictly to support and enable App features. We do not use any permission for purposes unrelated to the functionality of the App.
